Septic excavation, installation and service in Yakima

Fisher Construction installs, replaces, inspects and repairs septic systems for residential and commercial customers, with the excavation crew and machinery to handle the digging in Central Washington terrain and weather.

Chapter 01

How a septic system tells you it is in trouble

A septic system rarely fails without warning. Slow drains, gurgling pipes, foul odors and puddling near the drain field are the signs that it is time for service. Ignore them and a manageable repair can grow into a tank, line or drain field problem that means digging up more of the yard.

Proper installation and maintenance are what keep a system trouble-free and performing for the long run. The Yakima Valley adds its own challenges, from the terrain to the climate, and a system has to be installed to handle the coldest, wettest Central Washington weather without letting you down.

Installation from the first cut to final inspection

Fisher Construction handles every stage of a septic installation, from permits and site clearing through trenching, installation and final inspection. Because the same crew also runs the excavators, grading and trenching are done by people who know how the ground behaves around a tank and a drain field.

The work covers site clearing and prep, grading, drain field design, excavating and trenching for tanks, lines and drainage, installation or replacement of the system, backfilling and compaction, and erosion control with soil stabilization. Licensed excavation and grading contractors install the tank and drainage system to current local standards for environmental safety and wastewater management.

Chapter 03

Maintenance and repair that keeps it running

Between installs, the same team handles the upkeep. Septic maintenance covers inspections, pumping, cleaning and repairs, so a problem is found and fixed while it is still small. A drain field assessment or leak detection visit is far easier than rebuilding a failed field.

Fisher Construction is a local, family-owned company, fully licensed and insured, a member of the Central Washington Home Builders Association, and BBB Accredited since 2018. The crew serves Yakima, Selah, Moxee, Sunnyside, Toppenish, Wapato, Zillah and Suncadia. Call (509) 424-6072 to talk through your septic installation or service needs.
