Phase 03 · Finish

Bathroom Remodeling in Yakima, WA

Vanities, showers, tile and fixtures chosen for a room that gets wet every day, installed by one local crew.

Chapter 01

A bathroom takes more abuse than any room in the house

A bathroom handles constant moisture and daily wear in the smallest footprint in the house. Steam, splashes and temperature swings find every weak spot, which is why a bathroom that looked fine on install day can look tired in a few years if the wrong materials went in. A remodel is the chance to fix that, and to blend function, relaxation and style in one room.

Fisher Construction is a family-owned business rooted in the Yakima and Selah communities, with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and membership in the Central Washington Home Builders Association. Whether you are tired of dated fixtures or dreaming of a retreat, we plan around how your household uses the room, and we can help whether you want to keep the existing layout or change it.

Choosing surfaces that last

Porcelain tile is a favorite for floors and walls because it is tough and water-resistant, in endless colors and designs. Ceramic tile is a versatile choice for showers and backsplashes. Quartz is a go-to for vanity tops: its non-porous surface resists stains, scratches and moisture.

Natural stone such as marble and granite brings timeless elegance and needs a bit more upkeep, which we tell you up front. Vinyl flooring has become popular for its water resistance, and modern designs can mimic wood or stone. Vanity tops can be porcelain, engineered quartz, marble or granite, paired with a built-in, undermount or vessel-style sink.

Chapter 03

Fixtures that pay you back every morning

Fixtures are where a bathroom pays you back every morning. Modern faucets, toilets and showerheads save water and add comfort.

Water-efficient fixtures lower utility bills without giving up performance. Rain showerheads, dual-flush toilets and touchless faucets add convenience to a daily routine, and newer fixtures often need less upkeep and repair than the ones they replace. Hardware comes in stainless steel, chrome, gold, black or nickel, with details such as built-in soap dispensers and towel holders.

For bigger upgrades we install freestanding soaking tubs, frameless glass showers with a steam feature, and bidets, so the room can be as simple or as spa-like as you want.

Layouts and looks homeowners ask about

The requests we hear most are for freestanding tubs, frameless glass showers, statement tile and floating vanities. A frameless glass shower makes a small bathroom feel more open. A floating vanity saves space and keeps the floor visible, which helps a tiny room, and a double vanity gives a couple room to get ready at the same time. Bold geometric patterns or mosaics can turn the tile into the centerpiece.

Lighting finishes the room: bright overhead and vanity lighting, plus bath sconces where they fit. We handle the work in house and clean up when we are done. To plan your bathroom, call (509) 424-6072, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm. We serve Yakima, Selah and nearby communities.
